Your Peoples Health patients receive coverage for both routine and medical vision care through their plan. Medical vision care is provided through the ophthalmologists participating in the Peoples Health provider network. The most up-to-date provider listing is available on the Peoples Health website, under the Physician Search link. Choose Vision (Medical)/Ophthalmology from the Provider/Service Type drop-down menu. You can also access this search via the Provider Portal homepage.
Routine vision care is provided through UnitedHealthcare Vision and a separate network of online and retail providers. The routine vision benefit includes coverage for an exam and eyewear for vision correction. Refer to a plan’s Evidence of Coverage or your Provider Benefit Packet.
