We will decide to overturn, uphold or dismiss the appeal and notify the provider of the decision within 60 calendar days from the date of the appeal request.
If we overturn the original decision, generally payment will be made within 30 calendar days of the decision.
Should we require additional information from the provider to effectuate a decision, the request for such information will be included in the plan decision. A decision will be made within 30 calendar days of receipt of the additional information.
