All plans offer coverage for tier 1 and tier 2 generic drugs through the coverage gap. Most patients also receive discounts on eligible brand drugs through the coverage gap.
Your Peoples Health patients in special needs plans pay cost-sharing based on the level of Extra Help the patient receives from Medicare to help pay prescription drug costs. Because these patients receive assistance from the state to pay their prescription drug costs, their cost-sharing amounts do not change when they enter the coverage gap.
